• HW due Thurs. 12/13/18: Read "The Archetypal Myth of the Quest in Joyce's 'Araby'" by Mahmood Azizi. I created a vocab prep for this article at vocabulary.com in case it  you learn the words. This is an article that showcases the archetypal and reader-response perspectives. 

                    After you read, mark and make textual notes for:

• thesis statement
• the main point of each paragraph (highlight & note or summarize in margin)
• elements of reader-response perspective
• elements of archetypal perspective
• references to light/dark imagery
