• AP Exam Practice             TEST is WED. 5/8/19 in the small gym
• 7:45- Meet / eat breakfast in the hallway between the two gyms.
• Bring LUCKY PENCIL, blue or black ink pen.
• Do not bring into the testing room: food, drinks (including water), smart watches, phones, cameras, extra paper, notes, books of any kind.
• If you are late or do not show up for any AP exam, you will be charged for the test ($94) and the return fee ($15).

• Free Response Q3: Practice with Major Literary Works Chart 
• You should have 8 works of literature reviewed on your charts now.
• Use past AP Q3 topics to brainstorm and create a corresponding thesis statement.
• List of works we created in class

• Bonus Points! ONE MORE OPPORTUNITY: Today after school
• You can improve the average on your m/c AP practices by coming in after school to do more practices 🤨! If you score  >50, I will add 10 percentage points to the overall m/c score you are accumulating. You can earn a 100 for this major grade if you work at it! • AP Exam Review                      😊AP Exam: Wed. 5/8/19, 8 am 😊

• Free Response Q2: sample test passage
• Take 8 minutes to read and briefly annotate the passage for the ideas in the prompt.
• Assignments: 
1. At the bottom of the page, write your own thesis statement that responds to the prompt.
2. Read these sample essays that respond to the prompt. One is a high-scoring paper, one is a medium and one is a low-scoring paper. On the back of the prompt page, give your score and brief justification for each.

• HW due Tues. 5/7/19: 
• Complete Major Literary Works Chart for four MORE (8 total) works of literary merit that you have read in high school. Here are the possibilities we discussed in class.

• We did quite a bit of work with the Practice: 2018 passage. Read the passage in 8 minutes, focusing on the narrator's relationship with Zenobia.
• Work through the Thinksheet on this piece.

• Look at some sample essays for this passage
